Today I am going to tell you about Anamalai national park and tiger reserve.

So, Anamalai national park is located in Coimbatore district of of Tamilnadu. First it was Indira Gandhi wildlife sanctuary, in 1976 it got renamed as Anamalai wildlife sanctuary and in 1989 it became a national park.

Best reason to visit Annamalai National park is to see Nilgiri monkeys, tigers, Nilgiri Thar, wild elephants and so many types of birds.

Do you want to enjoy in Annamalai national park and Tiger reserve show the best and best time is between December to May.

When you listen word ‘ forest ‘ you think about trees first. So Plants diversity ofAnnamalai national park and Tiger reserve is : fig tree, Banyan trees, savri tree, bamboo, amri, different types of grasses and many more.

Kalakkad mundanthurai wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve.

Kalakkad mundanthurai wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve is in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. It is the 17th tiger reserve of India. It is in agasthiyarmalai biosphere reserve.

All forest and wildlife sanctuaries have some some special types of animals and birds. Like that kalakkad mundanthurai’s special types of birds and animals are : Madras hedgehog, elephants, tigers, wild dogs, smooth coated otter and about more than 290 birds species.

Everytime you can not go in a wildlife sanctuaries. Therefore best time to visit the kalakkad mundanthurai wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve is between December to May.

I know, all of us are always interested in wildlife. So, in kalakkad mundanthurai wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve these animals are found : tigers, elephants, panthers, chital, Kakkar, sambar, lazer dog face and rufous horse shoe bats, Nilgiri monkeys, fox, dusky striped squirrel, porcupine, Nilgiri marten, Madras hedgehog.

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park.

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park is in Wandur district of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. IT is spread over 281.50sq.km.

You can visit to Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park excluding only monsoon.

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park have so many types of aquatic plants like : coral reef, aquatic plants, ocean grass and tropical plants also.

If you are in Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park you will find following animals : Andaman wild boar, Chital, Palm cat, and more.

Birds of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park are : ocean eagle, Andaman snake eagle, Andaman till, western reef Herron, clrue, pigeon, lorikeet, whimbrel, black – headed and brown – winged khandya, Swift, etc.

This is a Marine park so there are different types of aquatic animals and reptiles : crocodile, hammer-head shark, king cobra, green sea turtle, leatherback turtle, hawksbill, olive ridley turtle, whitetip shark, parrot fish, angelfish, bat fish, Stingray, butterfly fish, clan fish, water monitor Lizard, banded sea snake, sea li, giant kam shell, sea cucumber and sponge.

You know Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park is on Andaman and Nicobar Islands. So lf you want to visit Mahatma Gandhi Marine National park you can go from only Port Blair airport aur bus stop.
